So, How Much Did You Spend Yesterday?
I really didn’t find that good of deals really, so I only went on Thursday. I went to Rite Aid to look at a camera that was on sale. My husband went to Black Friday sales but only went to Sears to get his uncle a gift. So, we are hoping that there will be better sales online on Monday and in the next few weeks. I really wasn’t that impressed by the sales this year.
So, we only put the gift for my husband’s uncle on a credit card and that had a zero balance. So, we will pay that off when we get the bill. We will have plenty of extra in December when he gets his $400 year-end bonus. We only have to buy a few more things for two of the kids, a gift for my mom and a frame for mother-in-law and we are done! This will mean that we won’t have any extra debt for Christmas this year. YEAH!!!
So, are you doing an all-cash Christmas? I really think it’s the way to go in this economy. If you find it hard to go all-cash, maybe look into layaway. Kmart, Sears and now Burlington Coat Factory all have them. I use to go in October and put things on layaway for my son. Then I would pay on it weekly. It was convenient and I didn’t have to go into more debt. Let me know how your holiday shopping is going.
