Gas Prices Under $2 Here
We filled up the tank yesterday and it was $1.99 a gallon. To fill the tank, it was less than $40!!! WOW!! I haven’t seen gas prices this low in upstate NY in years. It’s crazy!! The only thing I worry about is that people are going to be less concerned about alternative energy and making cars more gas efficient. The prices will go up. That I can guarantee.
We should be working on becoming completely independent from foreign oil. We are going to look at putting solar panels on our house in the next couple years (that may depend on the economy and if the government still gives rebates and refunds for doing this kind of things). We should put solar panels on as many homes as possible, use geothermal energy to heat and cool our homes, and use wind turbines to produce clean energy. Not only will producing more green energy help our environment but will also help in creating new jobs.
