Christmas is only 16 days away! This month is passing fast. I still have to buy some more gifts for 2 of my kids, and a frame for my mother-in-law. Oh, and we also need some stocking stuffers. So, we will only be spending about $120 more and we’re done - all cash Christmas! Usually I am all but done Christmas shopping at this point, but money was tight for a few months (we had house building related expenses). I am just now getting my Christmas cards done. Last year I had them all addressed and ready to go before Thanksgiving.

This week and into the beginning of next I will be busy with my classes ending and finals and final projects. So, I will probably not get much more shopping done, though I would like to have it done NOW! LOL. We still haven’t gotten our tree up, which is very unusual for us. Usually we put it up on Thanksgiving, but our 2 year old wasn’t feeling well. I think we will get it up this week. That is my goal.

Update on my Monthly Shopping Trip: So far, so good. We are low on instant rice, but we have regular long grain rice we can use. I am not worried about it because we don’t eat it very often anyways. Other than that we are still good.
