Merry Christmas Everyone

It’s December 25th and I am writing this early because I know I will not have time to do it today. The kids will be up early and ready to open up their presents. I need to get out the camcorder so I can record the two little ones as they see all the presents under (and around) the tree.  Then, of course, we also tape everyone sitting on the couch opening their presents. Christmas morning, unfortunately, will have to be quick. We need to be at hubby’s uncle’s house by 1 o’clock. His house is only about 15 minutes away, but it takes us about 15 minutes to get the kids ready and in the car.

We will eat with dinner with his uncle and mom, and then it’s off to the living room to sit in front of the fireplace and open gifts. We won’t be there too long, because then we have to go to my parent’s house again to see my brothers. We will leav for there between 4 and 5. Mom said she is having ribs and meatball subs for dinner. On Christmas day at mom’s, we never have a formal dinner. It is usually sandwiches or pizza, or something else yummy. Christmas Eve with my Aunt is usually when we have the big dinner. It will be a long day and we will all be tired by the time we get home; probably close to 9 or 10 at night.

So, what do you do on Christmas day? Leave me a comment and let me know.
