Words of the Week Wednesday 1/7
Words of the Week Wednesday is where I showcase three blogs or sites that I found during the last week. The first two are blogs that feature freebies for digital scrapbooking. I wrote about my addiction to the stuff in yesterday’s post (you can read that here). The other one is one of my favorite frugal sites EVER!
Scrappy Freebies
I actually found this site a few weeks ago, but I am on it ALL the time. The blog always has the best freebies for your scrappin delight. This one was meant for election day, but I can so see myself using it for scrapping and for my blogs around the 4th of July. So, I clicked on that link and went to the blog.
I love the red, white and blue buttons and that would work well for a blog design.
DigiFree
DigiFree is like Scrappy Freebies, except they have pages of freebies. What’s unique about this blog, is that it is actually a search engine that hunts through all the blogs for keywords like freebies and digifree. I’ve been going to the site for the last few days almost every day, and it always has at least 5 pages of freebies each day. There were quite a few today that I loved. This one to the left I liked for some Valentine’s Day layouts and designs I am going to be doing soon.
Frugal Village
This is the best site for communicating with other people about frugality. The site is ran by Sara, who started it many years ago, and it has grown tremendously ever since. People post about everything having to do with money; saving it, spending it, etc. Topics have included money challenges, winterizing your home, saving money, anything and everything to do with cooking frugally, and much , much more. It is an awesome site and I suggest you go take a look. They are a wonderful group of (mostly) ladies, and they really treat everyone like family.
